About Bee Natural Caretakers
We are a 'hands-on' community group of beekeepers who are committed to supporting and participating in a natural, sustainable, organic and/or chemical-free approach. We welcome part-timers, beginners, weekenders, students, side-liners, commercial-types, hobbyists and/or anyone interested in learning more about the bees.
Our community group started in 2016 and has grown from classroom-based meetings to a field-based bee club. In the summer of 2018, Bee Natural Caretakers partnered with an organic farm in Mansfield, ON to host our hives.
Our meetings take place in the field, working with hives owned and managed by the Club. It's an outdoor teaching classroom for our members. In the winter we will build/buy different types of hives (Russian, Top Bar, FlowHive etc) and plan to have a series of different hive styles for members to experience.
Our members are from Mulmur, Mono, Creemore, Mississauga, Orangeville, Toronto, Collingwood and beyond.
Bee Yard Location and meeting dates will be sent to paid members up joining.
